I am looking to employ a student for the summer (mid-June-early October). It would involve driving to Nova Scotia ending up on an island (East Ironbound Island) which has a rich history, 10 houses -5 in use sporadically- a lighthouse, fish houses, no stores, no clubs, etc., not much internet, but cell phone reception, electricity, beaches, stunning views, walks…. I would need someone who could be handy in boats, help with housework & gardening. Someone who is self-sufficient (sometimes I am the only one on the island). Someone who is strong and can put up with a self-sufficient female (79), me, who has a lot to do and a family who worries about my independence. Lodging is provided, and transport to be discussed.
